Title
[D8326R], Letter from Charles Edward Chinnock to Thomas Alva Edison, September 24th, 1883
Editor's Notes
"At 4:30 p.m. this day we had a load by card of 3500 Lamps and the brushes were sparking as bad we were on the point of starting the fifth [dynamo?]. We had one set of new brushes that worked well they heated some. I write you this for your information and as we are still adding to the istallation I am inclined to the idea of another engine and two H's. What do your think?
