- Light Co. formed Oct. 16, [1878?]. One of first things considered afterward was granting a contract to Fabbri & Chauncey for Central and South America. Referred to Ex Com on Apr. 15, 1879; report made on Aug. 21, 1879 when contract made. F&C agree to following terms: to get patents and concessions; to get patented items introduced as rapidly as possible; not to be interested in any light except Edison; to pay all costs; F&C to get all rights to patents; F&C can negotiate for transfer of patent rights with approval of EELC; agree to keep separate accounts and promptly pay; EELC agrees to pay F&C 1/3 of net income.
