- Eaton instructed Upton "that when Meadowcroft comes out with visitors he should be admitted to the Factory. I told him that you were the one to be consulted in the matter." Figure this out and advise. "I see no objection to taking men that are outside of the technical part of the business through. Men like Barker[!!!???] hurt us most." Concludes: "Money is awful tight!"
