- Title
- [D8338ZBO], Letter from Edison Electric Light Co Ltd, Arnold Henry White to Grosvenor Porter Lowrey, September 7th, 1883
- Editor's Notes
- [very faint] Yours of 19th rcd. Have shared it with colleagues, who agree uniformly that the English Co should conform to TAE's wishes as far as possible. THis is a very lawyerly letter. Might have gained brief commercial advantage by forcing TAE's hand but it's not worth it. Yours of 17th Aug determined to ascertain once and for all the real feeling of the Edison board on subject of retaining TAE's interest in the English Co. or of deliberately sacrificing it to a momentary advantage. [continues for another very faint page] TAE marg [crossed out] "I have not faith in the future--they will do anything as I have [overstrike]"
