[from St. Louis] spent pm with bofinger, wanted to see TAE in NY but too busy, wants to know how elevation in new orleans affects underground tubes (no cellars, strike water at 3 feet), depending on B to push matter through here, wrote to Eaton, "their enthusiasm has largely abated", asks about louisville estimates and Mr Heald re Llewellyn Park # TAE marg "no one has followed up Llewllyn park will do so soon. No trouble in New Orleans about tubes E"
