Nichols, a hat manufacturer in Danbury was the first and largest subscriber - he has generators - can be used to generate electricity in case not enough subscribers too bad we didn't have estimates one month earlier; perhaps should consider Nichols's proposal; TAE marginalia (?) "don't believe in this scheme"
