Title
[D8361ZBI], Letter from William Symes Andrews to Thomas Alva Edison, July 24th, 1883
Editor's Notes
Suggests simpler method of connecting spare dynamo (see D8361ZBJ) that would use a two point (instead of 4 point) switch for cutting field in and out. Dynamos & engine working well; lights giving satisfaction. Not a single hitch since we started, or even a flicker in the lights. PS "When breaking field of spare dynamo with [illeg] Z would it not be well to break through a copuld of lamps? TAE marg: "Dont think there is any danger in breaking an H field but you might rig it up."
