- Editor's Notes
- City council is about to regulate Electric light plants, propose 1 megaohm resistance betw. Dynamo and circuit for arc lights. Solicit advice and printed matter on preferred standards, with haste, as "our city fathers have a predisposition for passing just what is not wanted and are not disposed to permit of any delay." Believes that insulation is not of much account as tension is low, but separation of wires and proper safety catch protection are. TAE marginal reply: "If incandescent were underground such rule entirely necessary if overhead its also entirely necessary with double cutouts 1 megaohm is also about right for arc lights--where can't use safety catch"
