Title
[D8364ZCA], Letter from George Harrison Bliss to Thomas Alva Edison, December 3rd, 1883
Editor's Notes
Trouble with armatures, commutator bars cause sparking and heat which damages wire insulation. 250 light dynamo was fine with 16 candle lamps can't carry 32. TAE "One 32 is equivalent to 2 cp Lamps. You must have Dynamo in hot place or else you do not keep the brushes at non sparking point 2 blox out of non sparking point will heat machine 50 extra lamps. We are improving our new machines in matter of commutators."
