- Title
- [D8403ZHK], Letter from Leslie Dodd Ward to Samuel Insull, October 7th, 1884
- Editor's Notes
- Enclosed is copy of bill sent to TAE months ago. "I have attended his family FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS and recd in cash only $195, but took two shares of Light Stock for which I allowed $1200. Since then I have taken all the stock in the other cos that was allotted to me amounting to several hundred dollars. I do not complain because they would bring but little now for I took my chances with the rest but to have this last bill ignored is more than I expected. The amount is very small when compared with the personal inconvenience and loss of time I was subjected to and my regard for the family I had attended so long was the only thing that caused me to respond so promptly at all hours of the day and night."
