Title
[D8403ZHK], Letter from Leslie Dodd Ward to Samuel Insull, October 7th, 1884
Editor's Notes
Enclosed is copy of bill sent to TAE months ago. "I have attended his family FOR THE PAST TEN YEARS and recd in cash only $195, but took two shares of Light Stock for which I allowed $1200. Since then I have taken all the stock in the other cos that was allotted to me amounting to several hundred dollars. I do not complain because they would bring but little now for I took my chances with the rest but to have this last bill ignored is more than I expected. The amount is very small when compared with the personal inconvenience and loss of time I was subjected to and my regard for the family I had attended so long was the only thing that caused me to respond so promptly at all hours of the day and night."
