- Editor's Notes
- [SELECTABLE] I have contract with EELCo giving me control of all Isolated work in Chile and central station work outside Santiago and Valparaiso, you are hereby appointed my agent for that territory. I desire to keep Santiago central station in service and that it should eventually acquire the entire right to use the Edison system of lighting in Chile. Please work to this end. Also give any assistance to Ed. Kendall & co. The Santiago station is difficult and expensive to operate; please use your experiences here to advise them there. While reorganizing the Santiago company, promise them my full cooperation and urge them to unite with you in a permanent arrangement. In case you're unable to reoganize Santiago, give me info about the actual operation of lighting business to enable me to furnish a plant at the lowest price.
