- [D8416AJD], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to George Edward Gouraud, February 4th, 1884
- Editor's Notes
- "I have your favor of 19th inst together with a copy of a letter addressed to Drexel Morgan. I have been to see them today, and we have agreed to your proposal as to the reduction of the capital. I presume however that our stock will not be voted. We simply remain silent on the subject. This however, is a matter which Messrs Drexel, Morgan & Co will decide as they think best, as I have not great preference either way."
