Title
[D8416BPM], Letter from Samuel Insull, Edison Machine Works to Western Edison Light Co, May 19th, 1884
Editor's Notes
ack 5/15 "The resistance between the armature and base, which as you state is usually marked very high, should be infinite. It is, however, almost impractable to get such a high standard of efficiency" ## re Chicago city ordinance -- seems "directed agains high tension current machines, and such a restriction is entirely unnecessary wehre the current is at so low a potential as 110 volts." arrange to have the ordinance modified in case of low volt machines.
