- When in London, discussed with you possibility of reducing Indian & Colonial Co to "a mere nominal organization," with TAE acting as agent for the Co. Right now TAE "(under an arrangement with the EELCo) is proceeding to actively push the lighting business in Mexico, Central america and South America, and it has struck me that we might with great advantage work the Indian & Colonial business in conjunction with this department....TAE has a great idea of the value of Australia as a field for lighting, and I cannot conceive that the Australian business can be near so difficulty to handle as our South America...." Think it's too bad the Indian & Colonial is frittering away its money on directors fees, etc.
