- regarding motor for Mail & Express office. Called on Mr. Mitchell and explained gist of TAE letter to Chinnock relating to rental, etc. Mitchell refused to pay any rental, understood the total expense would be monthly charge for current. He has free water from an artesian well. Promised to lay matter before TAE. TAE marg: not very legible but answer found in letter to Chinnock of 5/26: "I think you had better advise Mr. MItchell to use his water with small motor, an interest in our motor with deprecation would eat up any profits to us, if we mearely sold him the current and loaned the motor."
