- returned from Boston with Upton; saw note saying TAE did not leave until the 20th, suggest telegraphing him and asking for permission for shops to give figures to Committee of Directors, who wanted Eaton to telegraph TAE to come home but he told them TAE back this week; in view of delay in his return best to get figures without waiting so Committee is ready to talk to TAE upon his return; Brockton and Fall River plants are good, Brockton especially so
