- [SELECTABLE] Commentary on handwritten annual statement. On assets: $25k gain yoy, $9k of that in receivables. Firm estimate of profit with a large margin is 10% on capital of $250k and could have paid a dividend in that amount if had the $250k working capital and kept 5% as appreciation of assets. "The business is now in such shape that we can hold our own and earn interest on our captial, on the sales of lamps in this country alone, at present prices and in the same amounts as last year." Anticipate increased demand for lamps and hope to run down debt.
