Experiments in carbonizing the following materials: Cow's horn, Hog's intestines, Hog's bristles, Whalebone. Also discussion of lamps exhausted without using current, lamp with cocoanut charcoal in exhasting, carbon of vermicelli stock, now experimenting with shank made of lime[?] Plumbago and water made into paste and put around the platinum wire and carbon.
