- Letterhead: Zuccato & Wolff, Patenters & Manufacturers of the Papyrograph and the Trypograph for multiplying facsimile [versions] of writings, designs & c." Holborn Viaduct, London. E de Zuccato. Zuccato applied for a U.S. patent "for producing copies of writings with a stencil produced by means of a steel plate having a serrated surface, a sheet of thin paper, and a stylus." TAE made "an interference" that prevented Zuccato from obtaining the patent. "Since then we have received several applications from the U.S. for Agencies for the sale fo this invention." Want to open matter again, ask Edison if he will consider letting them sell their apparatus in the U.S. Marginalia present, but meaning unclear. Consider selecting.
