Editor's Notes: [Letterhead of "The World."] "The World" is raising a fund to complete the pedestal of Bartholdi's Statue of Liberty and proposes to complete the last $25,000 by subscriptions of $250 each from 100 "gentlemen of the United States." Asking TAE to "put your name down on our 'Role of Honor' as one of these subscribers." Would call on TAE for the $250 when the list of 100 was complete and when they have raised $75,000 from small subscriptions.
