Title
[D8503ZBD], Letter from Thomas Alva Edison to Samuel Insull, June 27th, 1885
Editor's Notes
[Autograph letter] Tell Hamilton at the Lab that he may have the vacation he asks. I think Stewart of Chili is honest and if Johnson can fix up an arrangement between him and W.R. Grace & Co. to work the west coast of South America, he should do so. Getting money in N.Y. on all goods, but make the price reasonable, i.e. less than Isolated prices--at least 25% less. Weren't those lamps sent? Upton promised to ask Dyer. Keep me posted about orders that Lamp factory, Isolated and Batch gets. "Could you come over here to spend 4th at Gill[iland]'s--there is lots pretty girls."
