- [Letterhead of Perkins & Howard, Patent Attorneys.] Yours of Nov. 17 to Mr. Gregory has been given to me to answer [likely referring to TAE's response to Doc D8503ZDU]. "It was wholly on my suggestion that the patent above [patent no. 295,990] was thought to be invalid. I will 'explain' what I meant--but should prefer to do so in person" in NY. "It will probably be of interest to you outside of the patent in question, and therefore I prefer to say nothing further by letter." In the meantime, let me know if you are coming to Boston before I go to NY and I can meet you here.
