- On the 5th inst, I received a letter from Insull, enclosed herein. I found a strip of stock which you requested to be cut up in fibres and the same to be carbonized, the results of which to be reported to you. ##I found it made a very high resistance Carbon, about 5 times greater than bamboo. I am of the opinion that good results for life may be obtained from it. Will you please forward a lot of the stock, say about .008 thick will give it a trial for life.
