- Editor's Notes
- I saw Mr.[?] B[----] Saturday and I think without any doubt our arrangement with them will go into effect within one week. ##Now we have only 80.00 in bank and while we will have more funds before the week is over, we cannot meet that $600 note today[?], but if you will help us out, I will make the following promise: to give you as soon as I [-----] with Mr. B[-----] not less[?] than[?] $300 in cash and a new note for $300, which you can have discounted and which we will meet at maturity. Now [----] do not fail me in this and I will surely see you through as stated and it will only take a few days at most. ##I have an appointment[?] in Hoboken[?] on a big job this morning, but I will wait until I hear from you.
