- [D8533M], Letter from John Langton, Jr. to Samuel Insull, May 18th, 1885
- Editor's Notes
- I saw Kruesi today. He is better but still pretty sick. He already applied for the permit for Harry Miner's[?] theater through Mr. Hutchinson. Please see that we get it ASAP, or else we cannot keep our street force[?] going. "If I could get it tomorrow it would be none too soon." An estimate for the Police Department will be left here by 5 p.m. addressed to Russell, who wanted it to show TAE tonight. In it there is added $800 to our net price, being the same proportion of the total as the $1500 added to the Fire Department estimate.
