- On the 18th inst, I wrote you a few lines which I now confirm. I am not sure, but I may have forgotten to sign the prior letter. Please excuse that and consider the contents of that letter as if it had been signed. [Below the signature]: "I enclose a sketch of the tent[?] where I have the material for the Electric Light set up for the exhibition." [Enclosure appears to be part of a letter]: Please also inform me ASAP the approximate cost of a central station of 1000 lights at 16 cp with 3 miles of insulated wire; also for 1500 lights with 4 miles of insulated wire; also for 2000 lights with 5 miles of insulated wire.
