- Intending to found a society of shareholders to carry into the German household the "electric glow lamps," I request the following information. ##1. Whether transportable lamps that can be pre-feeded by the main machine, then operated without being connected to the machine, exist; ##2. If so, if you will give me some to show at lectures and meetings; ##3. The price of such lamps and the main machines; ##4. The lighting capacity of a lamp in proportion with a candle and a gaslamp; ##5. Whether these lamps can be used to take photographs and how many are necessary for a shop.
