- Editor's Notes
- I cabled you today at Biedermann's expense asking you to see what terms Steringer[?] would come over here at. ##I think Biedermann has struck a good thing in Vienna. He has got at the inner side of the great Imperial Continental Gas Association and they have taken the Vienna job in their hands. They have plenty of money and Biedermann is trying very hard to get some of it. He brings in the [scene?] a French expert whom the Gas Co. put in and he is very much in favor of the American Edison Lamp, if they can only have the right to use it in Austria. This I am going to work for in Paris. There is a way and I shall try hard.
