[Letterhead of The Canadian Club] Mr. Erastus Wiman, President, presents his compliments and requests the pleasure of proposing you for a membership in the Canadian Club. The objects to be accomplished and the policy to be pursued are set forth in the accompanying circular and pamphlet (see Doc No D8541W], and it is hoped will have your approval and cooperation. ##It is essential if the Club is to be a success that Canadians in NY should generally sustain it, and in order that all may participate in the advantages, a hearty interest in its support is asked. ##Particulars regarding membership, etc., will be found in the enclosed circulars. An early answer is requested.
