- Thanks Insull for the photograph, which is of Insull and has something to do with an unnamed "Fair One," who, says Tate, lacerates my feelings by transferring her affections" to Insull. Reports splendid success with the phone and intends "for awhile to run the Toronto end myself to prevent any hitch." Tate hopes the new year will bring Insull "bright prospects for a prosperous period during which you may be able to recoup the disasters that have left so many black spots in the memory of the past eighteen months."
