Title

[D8547B], Letter from George A Mason, American Telephone Co Ltd to Thomas Alva Edison, January 5th, 1885

Editor's Notes

What would be the probable cost of obtaining the South American telephone concessions you said could be obtained? American Telephone's plan would be to form a small syndicate to meet expenses; what proportion of shares would TAE want for his services? Plan is to form a closely held company once concessions are in hand; will you send Gower-Bell proxies to Fitzgerald as it will benefit all shareholders; stock in Consolidated has risen from 8-10; Oriental shares have also "made quite a jump."
