- In reply to your letter of inquiry of the 27th inst, there are two lots in your name in this square on which the first half of the tax amounts to $8.24[?]. The clerk, in posting the account, credited one half payment on these two lots instead of the whole payment on one, which the day book shows to have been made. ##It is clearly an error of the office and has been rectified.
