Title
[D8606B], Letter from William Dennis Marks to Thomas Alva Edison, April 10th, 1886
Editor's Notes
[Telegram of The Franklin Institute] I have been requested to write the Articles on Telegraphy and Telephony fo rthe Appendix to the Encyclopedia Britannica. As I desire to give prominence to the work of American inventors, I will be very much obliged for such papers and references as you can send me. ##My desire to avoid injustice or neglect will prove my excuse for thus trespassing on your good nature. [TAE Marg.:] "Loan him the testimony (2 large books) on telephone interference. Also tell him to look at Prescott's work on telephone, old and new editions."
