Many thanks for your favor of 16th inst, just to hand, re Mitchell and Sparling. ##Today we receive a long letter from a Maj. W. Heim of Sunbury, PA, in reference to our suit against the Edison Co. of that place and offering on his own part to assume the debt and pay us by installments of $50[?] per month. ##We would be glad to have any information you can give us regarding this party and what you think of the likelihood of his carrying out his agreement. The fact is we have stopped proceedings against this Co. once or twice before and legal fees will soon equal the claim.
