Title
[D8625C], Letter from Lemuel Wright Serrell to Thomas Alva Edison, July 12th, 1886
Editor's Notes
In the matter of liquidation of the EEL Co. of Europe and in carrying out the request of Insull, I have to say I accept the offer of a cash settlement as follows: 50% of the face of the Debenture Bonds and payment of accrued coupons, and interest on the face of the bonds at 6% from the date of maturity of bonds to present time. ##In regard to my old account of $2720.55 against above company, I agreed with Insull to deduct $1020.55. This leaves $1700 to be paid to me, upon receipt of which I will give a receipt in full of said account.
