- Editor's Notes
- You spoke of experimenting on Carbons for arc lights. I think Lawson might be of service to you. He is good up to a certain point, and has had a good deal of experience with furnaces. ##We are willing to pay a good portion of his salary in case you can use him. We cannot afford to let him go from us as he is an insider, yet he is no good as a foreman, but an experimenter who if looked after can do a great deal of work. ##I really think that you could make him very useful in the line of work you are starting on. ##Let me hear from you soon as I must make a change and do not think it is best to have him here during the present experiments, as this time we expect to obtain positive results.
