The part of the note I can make out appears to say:] Mr. Price told me [------] that the [-----] stones were left there by a [-----] who was digging a drain. It appears, however, that the tools they used were borrowed from the City and returned the same day. [------] of [-----] require[?] a light at 6. [----] not dark at time of accident.
