- [Two page typed letter, sent from Detroit] In reply to Jan 18 letter. He and Maitland consider the contract to be a mixed up document and wish to change its form in a way that would be more satisfactory to all concerned. Copies will be mailed in a day or two. He refers to telegram instructing him to call on parties on Third Ave who wanted a system immediately and also says to not neglect the outside territory. Careless filling of orders was due to low inventory. Parcel carrier will soon be perfected and samples will be sent.
