Title
[D8639N], Letter from S K Dingle to Thomas Alva Edison, May 31st, 1886
Editor's Notes
Rudd said he heard me better than usual today on the side the condensers are in. This is due to good battery of 22 cells, which is much better than 12.###The coil measures 3.5 primary and 665 secondary; train is 290 ft. long; roofs about 9 ft. wide; have five no. 6 wires stretched lengthwise over each car--five in all.###Preliminary tests show the double coil scheme seems to work better###Condensers have arrived; will start installing them tomorrow; "will probably take the rest of this week to finish the job"
