[D8640G], Letter from James F Gilliland to Samuel Insull, March 18th, 1886

Editor's Notes

Was testing Bergmann's telephones yesterday; they are not yet in shape; will arrange that if he perfects them by April 1, he will inform me and send samples with terms under which he will sell patents "for they commence Taking out the Bell Telephones March 30th"; if anything is to be done, it must be done right away; leave for Cincinnati tonight, expect to be in Chicago Monday; "will stop at the Brevoort House" [P.S.] "You might talk with Mr Johnson he might push the telephone matter" [See D8640I]
