- Editor's Notes
- Obliged for the invitation to Mrs. Bergmann and myself; plan to erect a building next to current factory fell through; have rented former "segar" factory at 27th St. and 1st Ave. instead; with increase space should be able to catch up with orders; Sold typewriter tools to Hammond for $27,000; sales last month, not including typewriter tools, were about $80,000, double that of last year. "Considering all this I think we are doing pretty well and satisfying everybody all around. I thought I would send you this little bit of news for once, as I understand you get lots of bad news from our friends, indirectly, about this concern;" If Edison Shafting will put in shafting, new factory will be running next week; asks about 5 wire system and whether switch and instrument box are all right.
