- Editor's Notes
- [Letterhead: Edison Lamp Company] ALS; don't like to advise about the company you mention; have 200 shares which I would like to sell at $20 per share; you can draw inference from that.###TAE recommends Edison Electric Light, now at $240, likely to go to $300 at year's end; pays dividend this year and has 1 mil. 6% stock in treasury; also Edison Illuminating, selling near par, paid 4% past 4 years and has "increased and putting up 3 large stations up town" costing $1.5 mil.; will increase dividend to 20%; also Bergmann & Co.; paid 20% for last 4 years but recently increased capital and now pays 8% with prospects of 15-20; Bergmann will get $300,000 in work from uptown stations alone; "last sale I heard of 87 1/2"###"Those are the only Electric Cos that I know of at present that are sold & have great prospects & good previous record."
