Title
[D8704ADP], Letter from Charles H Morgan to Thomas Alva Edison, October 14th, 1887
Editor's Notes
Wrote before but TAE did not answer; can TAE determine the weight and strength of materials to be used in construction of an airship Morgan has designed; data needed for the airship, machinery, and gas sack as against the "lifting power of the gas." Is sending under separate cover the patent application and amended application as well as three photographic sheets showing general construction; if you can supply data, tell me the cost of your inquiry beforehand; if you can't, can you refer me to someone who can? [TAE Marg.: "Tate= say I can't give him the Data-that Chas. E. Emery Consulting Engineer at New York Steam Heating Co. NY is the best man for him. E]
