- Editor's Notes
- We sometimes get glimpses of your work applying electricity to metallurgy and hear you are seeking different ores for experiment; because of our respect for you, we will give you the use of our pages to seek any mineral or mineral product you desire; would also appreciate any communication we might publish on the application of electricity to metallurgical operations.###One of our greatest needs is for an air-efficient storage battery to store variable and intermittent power of windmills to be made "available for locomotives in mines, for driving mining and milling machinery, and in the metallurgical operations that are evidently destined before long to change very materially our entire metallurgical practice."###Can I procure a phonograph, as I have a need to multiply "my literary productive capacity"###In a few weeks will publish a large extra edition of the journal to be sent to all mines, furnaces, mills, smelting works, waterworks, bankers, etc. in the US and to large lists in Australia, S. Africa, S. America, Mexico, etc.; if you can write anything, will publish it.
