- Thanks for your note of Dec. 21 re: incandescent lamps; would be advantageous for us to run an Edison machine at a high potential, but don't wish to run any risk with the lamps; if the only objection to the 110 volt lamps is that their life is a little shorter, we would accept that, but if there is a likelihood of further trouble, we would rather use the 104-volt lamps; which will on the whole be best? [Marg.: E The only trouble will be rather less life to the Lamp]
