- Editor's Notes
- Would you consider my application for employment; "I was the first to find work here in the Pump room when the workmen were on strike"; was placed in Mr. Brossius [?] aisle; have worked lamps from 8 c.p. to 100 c.p., chiefly the larger ones; Mr. Saxelby in May promised me a raise from $9.90 to 11.88, and I worked steadily on hoping that when business improved I'd get the raise, but to no purpose; left the shop feeling I deserved the advancement; am willing to do whatever I am taught.
