- Title
- [D8717AAA], Letter from Alfred Ord Tate to Michael Miller Moore, July 20th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- I have your letter of June 28. Acknowledges previous knowledge of inferiority of Langdon Davies system of telegraphy to ours; Phonoplex technology requires no change in operators work or expert attention. Notes Mr. Preese is pleased with testimonials. Notes disastrous history of companies in our business in England and that only Edison's patents were upheld regarding the telephone and lighting. Notwithstanding these facts, we will be glad to consider the proposition from the Langdon Davies people.
