Title
[D8719AAU], Letter from Edison Machine Works, Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, April 15th, 1887
Editor's Notes
"The Boston Co., accourding to the statements which we have sent Hammer, owes us six or seven thousand dollars. The chances are that a great deal of this has not gone through. Will you please see Hastings and ask him what bills and vouchers he has; he ought to have four or five dollars anyway; see what you can do towards getting us a Cheque in settlement or on a/c. ## Our bills are going in pretty heavily against the United Co.; they must have quite a considerable amount there; please get Notes. The writer will be in Boston either Tuesday or Wednesday next, and will afterwards come to New York."
