- [D8719AAU], Letter from Edison Machine Works, Samuel Insull to Alfred Ord Tate, April 15th, 1887
- Editor's Notes
- "The Boston Co., accourding to the statements which we have sent Hammer, owes us six or seven thousand dollars. The chances are that a great deal of this has not gone through. Will you please see Hastings and ask him what bills and vouchers he has; he ought to have four or five dollars anyway; see what you can do towards getting us a Cheque in settlement or on a/c. ## Our bills are going in pretty heavily against the United Co.; they must have quite a considerable amount there; please get Notes. The writer will be in Boston either Tuesday or Wednesday next, and will afterwards come to New York."
