- Editor's Notes
- "I return to you herewith your letter of the 3rd. Inst. And Mr. Stone's letter of the 15th. October. What I want you to do is to verify Mr. Stone's claim. Although you have written me two and a half pages on the subject of the account you do not state whether same is correct. I have been trying for nearly a month to get this matter settled. ## I saw Mr. Shaw the other day and was surprised to learn that the Power of Attorney on the Sunbury matter had never been sent him. I wrote you that I did not consider a poer of Attorney necessary, but to send it anyway if he wanted it. To the best of my recollection, without referring to the records, you replied that you would attend to it. Shaw says he never received it."
