- "In response to your favor of 16th inst. I enclose you herewith price list of mains and feeders, for three-wire underground system. I have no prices for five-wire tube. ## In Boston we are getting our work done for a much less price than what it costs us in New York. Boston prices average 10 cents per foot, for laying mains, and 12 cents per foot, for laying feeders. ## New York prices: 16 cents for laying mains, and 22 cents for laying feeders. I think that in Orange it ought to be done fully as cheap as in Boston. ## The estimate which I sent you yesterday comes very close to your suggested capacity for the start, and the plan is so arranged that additional capacity can be added to the station at any time, without any material changes in arrangement of the bulding.
